When not fighting, he can be seen wearing various civilian outfits. He wears knee-high black boots and a long, yellow scarf wrapped around his neck. On his waist is a black belt with a gun holster that holds his blaster, his main weapon. In battle, Pyunma wears a red, double-breasted military uniform with padded shoulders, black contrast bands, and four large yellow buttons on his chest and torso. His face is drawn in the "Blackface" stereotype used in the manga, with an extra-bulbous nose and huge lips. He is taller than Chang Changku, though shorter than his other fellow 00 Cyborgs.
His hair is styled into a short buzz cut. Pyunma is an African-American with dark skin with a purplish tint while his hair and mouth have a lighter shade.
