So I'm still using an ancient version of Creative Suite which runs fine. I could keep using this machine for another 5 years if I were using just the other software. In order to begin to subscribe, I'd have to get a new PC! It's completely out of the question. My PC can run any software extremely well, but can't begin to do well with Adobe software. Not as well as when it was all new because Apple also has slowed down the Mac with successive, heavier updates.Īt home, my PC long since lost the arms race with Adobe. On my Mac which is about that old, it runs pretty well. At work I ended up reverting my Adobe versions back to about 2015. Otherwise, Adobe software is incredibly laggy on a less than new system. It looks to me like I would need to upgrade my PC about every 4 years in order to be able to run the latest Adobe releases relatively well.
It's even worse because Adobe software is so heavy on your system. I share the sentiment regarding Adobe 100% in terms of the whole subscription model.
